Marksans Pharma Limited has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the share capital of ABCnow GmbH, a Germany based pharmaceutical company with frontend sales, marketing, and distribution capabilities across German healthcare market.
The acquisition marks a strategic step in expanding Marksans' presence across regulated European markets and strengthening its forward-integration strategy through direct, owned market-access capabilities in the European Union. The acquisition is expected to be completed by 31st July, 2026.
ABCnow GmbH is a pharmaceutical wholesaler and distribution company headquartered in Flensburg, Germany. It is primarily engaged in marketing & distribution of OTC products in Germany.
ABCnow presents an attractive opportunity to gain access to German pharma markets and with its capable and well-trained team of professionals can support Marksans’ growth aspirations. With this acquisition, Marksans will create its own front end in Germany to market its products. |
