NABH to conduct three-day entry level hospital assessors’ training programme

The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) has announced a comprehensive three-day Entry Level Hospital Assessors’ Training Program, in accordance with the 1st Edition Standards for Entry Level Hospitals between April 24 and 26, 2024. The program aims to equip healthcare professionals with the necessary skills to assess hospitals for accreditation.

The Entry Level Hospital Assessors’ Training Programme underscores NABH's commitment to enhancing healthcare quality through accreditation standards. It offers healthcare professionals an opportunity to contribute to improving patient outcomes and safety. Don't miss this chance to be part of this transformative initiative.

Last Date to receive applications is March 8, 2024.

The three-day course will be conducted onsite in New Delhi, featuring interactive teaching sessions and exercises. Participants are required to attend all three days of the programme. The training includes daily monitoring of performance and a written examination on the final day. Successful participants will be considered for empanelment as NABH assessors.

The fee for the training course is set at Rs. 15,000 plus GST at 18%, inclusive of the cost of NABH standards and study material. Shortlisted participants will be required to pay the fee online through the "pay now" option available under the Training & Education Tab.

Eligibility Criteria for Clinicians is Post-graduation in a clinical subject (MD/MS/DNB or higher qualification) with a minimum of 7 years of experience. Higher qualifications in clinical branches are preferred. MBBS with post graduation in Healthcare Management or Hospital Administration with a minimum of 10 years of experience for Administrators. PhD/M.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 7 years of experience or B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 10 years of experience for nurses.

Desirable Criteria (for all Categories is minimum 5 years of experience in a NABH Accredited/Certified Hospital. Attendance at POI on NABH Hospital Standards or Entry level standards. Implementation of NABH Accreditation Standards in their respective Organization.

The above criteria may be supplemented with additional qualification(s), experience and skill(s) as per NABH requirements. NABH reserves the right to postpone/cancel/defer the event wholly or in part in case of an insufficient number of participants, organizational reasons, changes of availability of faculty or other unforeseeable circumstances.

In case of cancellation/postponement participants may not assert any claims and any such claims shall be excluded.

I am having around 25 yrs. experience in BME, Engg., Projects & hospital design from concept to commissioning stage. Worked with major corporates like Escorts Heart Inst., Fortis, Max Healthcare, BR Life, NMC & currently working with Apollo Healthcare. Seeking a entry level NABH accessor course.
Please help.
