GPT Healthcare, operator of ILS Hospitals, has inked a strategic partnership with MedLern, an AI-enabled digital learning platform for healthcare. The collaboration marks a significant step in ILS Hospitals’ digital transformation journey, reinforcing its commitment to clinical quality, operational excellence, and patient outcomes.

As healthcare delivery in India grows more complex, the need for continuous upskilling has become critical. Through this partnership, ILS Hospitals will embed structured, role-specific, and measurable learning into daily operations across clinical and non-clinical teams.

MedLern’s platform will enable deployment of curated clinical content, real-time competency tracking, and continuous learning across nurses, clinicians, and administrative staff. Its phygital training modules combining physical and digital simulation are designed to support excellence in fast-paced healthcare environments.

“We believe that the quality of care our patients receive is a direct reflection of the skill sets, capabilities and motivation of our people. MedLern provides us with a scalable and intelligent platform to invest in our most valuable asset, our workforce. By embedding continuous learning into our daily workflows, we are strengthening a culture rooted in operational excellence and patient-centricity, which are integral to the fabric of ILS Hospitals, said Dr. Vishal Goyal, group chief operating officer, GPT Healthcare Limited (ILS Hospitals).

Making learning accessible, measurable, and outcome-driven will enable us to deliver more consistent clinical quality, enhance staff engagement, and elevate the overall patient experience. This partnership is not merely a technology adoption; it is a strategic step towards building a future-ready organization where excellence is standardized, learning is continuous, and every patient interaction reflects our commitment to quality healthcare across the communities we serve in Eastern India, added Dr Goyal.

“ILS Hospitals represents exactly the kind of forward-thinking healthcare organisation that MedLern was built to serve. Their leadership’s unwavering focus on quality, patient safety, and people development makes them an ideal partner. Together, we will deploy tailored learning pathways, real-time competency analytics, and evidence-based clinical content that empower every member of the ILS team to perform at their best every day. We are proud to stand alongside ILS Hospitals as they set a new benchmark for workforce excellence in Indian healthcare.” Deepak Sharma, co-founder & CEO, MedLern.

The platform will be implemented across ILS Hospitals’ facilities in Kolkata (Dumdum, Howrah, and Salt Lake), as well as Agartala and Raipur. In the first phase, it will cover thousands of clinical and non-clinical employees, with plans for network-wide expansion in subsequent phases as part of GPT Healthcare’s broader digital transformation roadmap.
