Nathealth Foundation appoints Gautam Khanna to its board

The Nathealth Foundation has appointed Gautam Khanna to its board. As an industry leader and General Council Member of Nathealth, he brings with him expertise in healthcare operations, strategic leadership, and cross-sectoral partnerships.
 
His appointment marks a significant step forward in the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to build a resilient, inclusive, and innovation-led healthcare ecosystem in India, said Nathealth in its communication.
 
As CEO of PD Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Khanna has been pivotal in driving patient-centred care, operational excellence, and institutional innovation. An alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Calcutta, he spent over two decades with 3M, leading its healthcare businesses in South Asia. He actively contributes to national health policy and quality frameworks, serving on the QCI’s APEX Steering Committee for Accreditation++ and as president, Association of Hospitals (Mumbai).
 
He has held several key industry roles, including Chair of the FICCI Health Services Committee (2022–23) and the FICCI Medical Device Forum, advocating for systemic reforms in healthcare delivery and regulation. He has also been a task force member for the healthcare/hospital initiatives at IIT Kanpur and executive committee member for PAN IIT Alumni, India (2022-2025). 
 
Sharing his views on joining the Board, Khanna said, "It is an honour to join the board of Nathealth Foundation and contribute to its mission of enabling accessible, equitable, and high-quality healthcare for all. I am deeply committed to supporting initiatives that foster innovation, strengthen institutional capacity, and deliver tangible impact across the healthcare value chain. Together, we have the opportunity to reimagine health systems that truly serve the needs of every Indian."
 
Ameera Shah, president, Nathealth and promoter & executive chairperson, Metropolis Healthcare, said, "Khanna’s deep domain knowledge and strategic leadership will significantly enhance our efforts to drive meaningful transformation in Indian healthcare.
