The Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) is working on a crucial project in collaboration with Ernst & Young (E&Y) to prepare a comprehensive Sectoral Handbook on Drugs and Pharmaceutical Exports – Product Market Fit. This initiative aims to provide critical insights to enhance India's competitiveness in the global pharmaceutical market.
As part of this effort, Pharmexcil has called upon member pharma exporters and stakeholders in the pharmaceutical sector to participate in the study by submitting their inputs through an industry-specific questionnaire. These inputs will be instrumental in shaping the draft version of the handbook for further review.
Raja Bhanu, director general of Pharmexcil informed that participants have been urged to answer as many questions as possible to provide comprehensive feedback. Responses should be directed to the E&Y team, with copies marked to the EP (Pharma) Division and Pharmexcil.
He emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, "The inputs from our member companies and industry stakeholders are critical to ensuring that the handbook accurately reflects market needs and trends. Together, we can strengthen India's position as a leader in pharmaceutical exports."
The finalized handbook will act as a strategic tool for businesses and policymakers, aligning with the nation's vision to expand its footprint in international pharmaceutical markets.
