Sandip B Tiwari, Ph.D., currently serving as head of technical services, pharma solutions at BASF Corporation, has been appointed vice chair of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) In Vitro Release & Dissolution Testing Community for the year 2025. Dr Tiwari will succeed to the role of Chair in 2026, followed by Past Chair in 2027. Dr Tiwari's extensive experience in pharmaceutical technical services and commitment to advancing industry standards made him an ideal candidate for this leadership position. The AAPS Board Communities Sub-Committee recognized his qualifications and the significant contributions he can make towards the goals of the AAPS. In a letter addressed to Dr Tiwari, Amanda Hays, Ph.D., chair of the AAPS Board Communities Sub-Committee, expressed the committee's enthusiasm for his leadership role. "Your skills and experience will contribute greatly to the goals of AAPS and the community," Dr Hays noted in her correspondence. Dr Tiwari will be undergoing mandatory leadership training in the upcoming year alongside other community leaders.
