B Medical Systems, a Luxembourg based entity, will be investing 10 million Euros for the company’s expansion in India. It will be focusing on the safe storage and transportation of all temperature-sensitive medical products.
"Our vision is to make India the medical cold chain capital of the world. In our first phase which is happening this year, we will be investing 10 million Euros for our expansion. We are also looking at several multiple phases in the coming 18-24 months which will entail significant additional investment," said Jesal Doshi, Deputy CEO, B Medical Systems.
He further said, "We want to offer to India the world’s best medical cold chain products. We also want these to be manufactured in India. Our manufacturing plant is being set up in Mundra and will be fully operational in a few weeks. Our distribution network is established and we have made some strong partnerships in the country”.
The company has also set up a service network in 70+ cities across the country, which will help it to install its products anywhere in the country without any delay, and have hired the best talents to support the customers. The company has developed new real-time monitoring systems keeping in mind the vastness of the country and the network connectivity. It is also offering new business models for its customers in India that help to procure a large number of units with a minimal upfront cost.
Talking about plans to launch new product, Doshi added, "Our vision is to save lives through reliable and innovative technology. On that front, we constantly strive to develop new products and services to serve the health care sector in the best possible way. We are in the process of developing several new products that will cater to the various nodes of the medical cold chain along with real-time traceability. We will also be launching several state-of-the-art products which are developed entirely in India and will be Made in India".
In 2019, B Medical Systems established their US subsidiary. This year company commenced the operations of India subsidiary to meet the medical cold chain requirements of the country.
"We want reliable medical cold chain units across every part of the country and empowering our manufacturing facility in Mundra to meet this objective is our immediate priority. We will continue to evaluate future geographical expansion. In fact, we are also looking at a potential expansion in South East Asia in the coming months" he added.
