ISPE India to organise conference on 'Operational Excellence through Automation' in Mumbai on April 6

ISPE India is organising a conference on 'Operational Excellence through Automation' on April 6, at Hotel Holiday Inn, near Mumbai International Airport.

The use of advanced automation technologies ranging from manufacturing execution systems to robots, automated process controls, precision air flow controls, integrated and automated packing lines, integrated warehouse and supply chain systems is transforming operations across the manufacturing landscape.

This conference will explore real-world applications of automation in pharmaceutical companies. Experts will discuss how Automation improves compliance and minimizes deviations by connecting instruments to electronic systems, so users don’t have to manually enter data; how business logic and rules can be used to create processes so data is automatically populated and fed into a central system in a format that makes it easier to be analyzed, stated the organisers.

This conference will focus on automation in serialisation, process controls, manufacturing/continuous manufacturing, manufacturing execution system, inspection, packaging systems, laboratory control systems, warehouse systems, supply chain systems, quality systems and robotics.
The pharmaceutical industry is facing significant challenges. Scrutiny by regulators and intense competition has placed enormous pressure on pharmaceutical manufacturers. Many companies are using automation to improve productivity, integrate the supply chain and achieve global compliance. This conference will explore real-world applications of automation in pharmaceutical companies, said Kaushik Desai, ISPE India Affiliate.
The conference agenda will have Ajit Singh, Chairman: ACG provide views on the Operational Excellence Through Automation. This will be followed by Navaneetha Kannan, Chair - ISPE GAMP India CoP Steering Committee providing an introduction to the session.
The other speakers are N.S.Madhusudhanan Mitsubishi Electric India addressing on Smart Manufacturing Solutions using Robotics. Leif Poulsen, Global Technology Partner within Automation & IT at NNE delving on Integrated Quality Management Systems. David Margetts, Managing Director, Werum IT Solutions, Thailand will highlight on Pharma 4.0 and Data Integrity. Ganadhish Kamat, Global Head Quality & Executive Vice President, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories will speak on Automating for Global Quality. Shirish Belapure, Managing Director, Zydus Hospira Oncology will cover on the topic Strategies for successful Implementation of Automation. Bhavesh Shah, Kevin Technologies will provide a peek into Automation: Manufacturing Execution Systems. Prateek Vohra, Chief Executive Officer, Technocrats will speak on Precision Airflow Control & Dynamic Pressure Balancing Solutions. Lars Olsen, NNE Limited will address on Global pharmaceutical packaging trends, beyond Serialization. Richard Kelley, Lonza Informatics will cover on Automation: Laboratory Control System and Prashant Sharma, President: Group Formulations Manufacturing & Operations, Zydus Cadila will cover Implementation of Automation at Zydus Cadila.
