TSI receives $13 mn contract from US Military for testing respiratory protective devices

TSI Incorporated, a global leader in respirator fit testing instrumentation, has announced that it will support US Army Soldiers with the testing of their respiratory protective devices under a new $13 million contract.

The contract calls for delivery of PortaCount 8020M Protection Assessment Test Systems (PATS) to test for the proper donning and fit of CBRN gas masks worn by US Soldiers. It also includes spare parts as well as upgrades of calibration facilities.

"We're proud that the US Military has again chosen TSI as a trusted partner in providing the test equipment to keep US Soldiers safe and to prevent their exposure to chemical warfare."
